Will it stay on thru a car wash? Also is it that easy to apply?

Yes, if plastidip is applied correctly, it will last through a car wash. There are videos on YouTube of people putting pressure washers up against the dip without any issues!

As for the application, if you're plastidipping emblems, it is very easy (you can use a rattle can). If you're dipping the entire car, it is recommended to use a machine and spray gun.

The more layers of plastidip, the better. If plastidip is laid too thin, it will be a bitch to remove!

I have all my emblems Plasti Dipped in their anthracite color. It's super easy to do. Just Goggle Plasti Dip to find a few instructional videos.

It's also easy to peel off if you get tired of it or screw it up putting it on.

Mine has been on the car for about a year and I have a couple of small spots on the corners of the 5.0 numbers and GT letters that have worn a bit. I'll probably peel it all off and redo them soon.

Here's are a couple of pics of the side of my car that shows the numbers. The first one also shows the hood spear stripes that I just put on.

My best friend plastidipped his entire 89 Z28 in anthracite grey...cars looks stunning and it was nearly 2 years ago. Cars finish looks flawless and this is in the Arizona sun. He washes his car like twice a week. We are going to do my truck soon, and he did his girlfriends WS6, and his daughters boyfriends Accord in some color-shifting versions. They look fantastic.

applied correctly it can look good and it more durable than paint for sure. personally id say stay away from the classic flat black dip because it does look cheap. I had the classic black with gloss on my 335i wheels and they went through hell still looked perfect, a satin finish. Even car guys who hate on plastidip thought mine were painted/powdercoated.

Just make sure your edges are proper and it won't peel until you want it to
