Pilot Bearing

Hey guys, so I have a 2020 Manual Ford Mustang Gt, and I got a McLeod 1200hp clutch, and I have seen in so many videos that nobody install a pilot bearing in the crank since the flywheel from the kit already has one, my question is if is still necessary to put a pilot bearing in the crank even though the flywheel already has one?

I'm pretty sure 17 and older had the pilot in the crank but 18+ it's in the flywheel.
