Has anyone experienced the fronts of the rear fenders getting tiny rock chips/peppering after installing wider wheels or wheel spacers?

Yep it happens. A few guys have fitted splash guards to help reduce the problem. The other option is protective film install, but over time that also gets chipped and needs replacing. I had that film installed on my Porsche and it looked great at first, but then it started to chip and look like crap after 12 months.

I think splash guards are the only thing that will really solve the issue.
