I know the PCM is locked for tuning but is it locked for reconfiguration as well?

I noticed there is a line in Forscan to allow for remote rev to be enabled. Could this be reconfigured in FDRS? I am getting an error in forscan when trying to update the line.

You might wish to consult with Livernois Motorsports & Engineering in Dearborn Heights, MI. They have a fair bit of practical experience at unlocking Ford PCMs on a variety of models. And, they've always been quite generous with me in answering questions and providing guidance.

Good luck!

Very unlikely that can be done with FDRS. Remind me later tonight when I am home and I will see what procedures FDRS las for the PCM on these vehicles.
