Painted Rear Spoiler W/Gurney Flap

Is anyone thinking of painting the black rear spoiler their body color? I think it would make it look less "add on like".

I may look at that after I see how it looks photo-shopped or someone does it.
I also think that the mirrors need to be color-keyed also. But I am sure lots would disagree on both items painted..

I think it looks better painted magnetic. Same with the mirrors. Helps to break up the car and looks more aggressive.

I see that there is now a 2021 Shelby GT. It uses the standard Mach 1 spoiler painted body color. https://www.shelby.com/Vehicles/Shelby-GT-2021

I think this is a good representation of what you are asking. I did not like it when I first saw it because there was no gurney flap on. Now with the carbon fiber gurney flap installed I really like it. I think even gloss black gurney flap would look good. To me it is about the gurney flap not being painted body color that makes it work.

I like that! The black gurney flap does set off the orange in the spoiler.
