Paint protection - Brisbane

Can anyone recommend a non-dealer paint protection detailed in Brisbane?

From what I have read it seems best to:
- not do it yourself and have a pro do it
- not have them use wax, but something more permanent
- not bother with the dealer extras

The issue is everyone says they are the best and their product is exclusive and better than the rest. The costs seem to be all over the shop too.

Anyone have some first hand experience or recommendations in Brisbane?

I used wave detail pro, they come out to you, if you don't have space you can take it to their place and they will drop you off.

The whole topic of which paint protection (if any) is worth purchasing is a difficult one to get a definitive answer to.
I chose to go with Opti-coat Pro+ applied by Solar Style in Coorparoo. I can endorse them as professional and easy to deal with. I had it applied to the wheels as well.
Three months later, the jury is out as to whether it was worthwhile or not. Moisture still beads and it certainly is easier to clean the car. I'm not sure about paint protection qualities, I guess time will tell.
I also had them put clear wrap on the front of the car as well as mirrors, door handle cups and rear boot loading area. I am very happy with this product.
They also did my window tinting - great job.

I used Solar Style as well for Opti-Coat and Tint back in April last year.
So far so good.

I have heard great reports from iValet in North Lakes, from other QLD S550 members.

They will be reapplying opti-coat over my racing stripes in a couple of weeks!

Update - just collected Mustang after getting OptiCoat / tinting done at Solar Style, Coorparoo.

Looks amazing, great service. They worked hard to remove scratches from a car.
