2015 Mustang GT running E85.Anybody run into this before? I’ve been getting an intermittent P0306 cylinder 6 misfire, and now for the first time I got P0355 Ignition Coil E Primary Control Circuit/Open along with P0300 Random Misfire. Plugs are fairly new and gapped around .045. I swapped the coils around but haven’t driven it enough yet to see if the problem follows the coil. Every once in a while I’ll get a tugging/shuddering under acceleration, then it’ll run perfectly fine again. Before I start throwing parts at it, what would you guys check first? Coil, connector/wiring, injector, or something else?

I have the same year Mustang. I had an issue with the E or #5 coil showing a misfire on my scan tool. The coil was plugged in, but one of the wires slipped back, within the plastic connector housing, thus not making contact with the male prong/pin inside the coil. I tried pushing the wire back in the plug housing, making the connection to the coil, and it worked for a while. But it slipped out again. I ended up pushing the wire back in, verifying the female socket was at the end, then putting a drop of gorilla glue on the wire and the plastic housing at the opposite end. Its probably not the factory recommended fix, but it worked. New ignition coil plugs can be bought on Amazon, if you want to cut/splice your wires.
