I recently bought a 2017 Mustang GT premium, I had one 2 years ago with 60k less miles but the market has been bad so I pulled the trigger on this one. 85k miles. First week it was driving just fine. I had to make a 100 mile round trip so a lot of cruise control time, I had an engine light pop up and I connected my scan tool and checked and it was Cylinder 8 misfire (P0308) so I replaced the spark plug, fault came back next day 16 miles later, swapped #4 coil with 8, fault came back as P0300 multiple cylinder misfire, had good luck today and no fault. Does this sound like the IMRC problem? I’ve already reached out to the dealer but they are in Dallas TX and I’m in Fargo ND. Plan on ordered a new stock manifold and putting it in to get by for now, any thoughts would be appreciated.
