I notice BigWorm says their full length S550 stripes have a "slight" taper at the front and am trying to understand what that's about. They say all of Ford's and Shelby America's stripes are also narrower at the front of the hood.
I can sort of understand it for the 2018-19 because the stripes can be very close to the vents which seem to be parallel to each other. So would probably look better for the stripes to be parallel to the scoops. But on the 2015-17, the hood lines closest to the stripes are the raised spears and those aren't even close to being parallel to each other and are also curved, so stripes couldn't be parallel to those anyway.
So what's the story?
Also, for those with BigWorm stripes, how much narrower are they at the front of the hood compared to the back of the hood?
