Ordered. Guard GT Prem. (PP)

Hey Guys,

I'm new here.. I ordered my Mustang on Valentines Day.

I chose most of the options except for the 50 Years Pack, Recaros, & Adaptive Cruise Control.

This is going to be my only car, replacing my 2014 Lexus IS350 F-Sport.. Read some mixed reviews on the MT82 Getrag, so I'm contemplating if this is the right choice or if I should have ordered an Automatic. I'll be cruising canyons & doing Auto-X occasionally.. But City & Hwy the majority of the time!

I am 57 and have never owned a automatic. The manual TRANS is a good unit. There are always a few people that have problems with some parts of the car. Do you really think Ford would put bad transmission design in the mustang of all cars? Order the car the way you want it has a warrantee if anything goes wrong it'll get fixed. Plus for the kind of driving you're doing I think a stick would be fun and the best way to go. Just my $0.02.

Fluid change and the MT82 will be rock solid. And, I would not be without the Recaros.

Big change vs the lexus...out of curiosity, why change out of that car? Heard really good things about the is350 f sport.

Cool.. The only reason I didn't go Recaro is because I like the Heated and Cooled Seats :(

I've tested the new Lexus RC-F and loved the V8 sound and power, but that car cost too damn much. After intense weeks of research, the Mustang is the lightest and best well rounded muscle car out of the bunch. Lighter than the Rc-f and much cheaper.

I don't miss them, because I never popped for 'em. Now my wife has them and loves them, but they just make me sweat. I don't want to wear a cool suit in the winter.

I hear you, I was looking at the RCF at one point also...incredible to see that the specs between a GT premium and RCF are so similar, with a very different price. Now, the interior of the lexus is pretty awesome, but not worth the premium IMO. Congrats on the new ride, you are going to love it.
