Sounds like I may have gotten lucky with how quickly a build week and VIN was assigned...my sales guy was surprised as well, as he was not expecting that to happen for another week or two.

As far as the price I got - This is the second Mustang I have purchased from my sales guy. After I purchased my first Mustang, luck had it that around 10 of my friends and family members were in the market for a new vehicle. I sent them to my sales guy and I believe he made a sale to just about all of them. I imagine that helped, as the discounted price on my new stang is what was offered without my asking. Though I could prob get a slightly better deal, the price seemed fair enough and I appreciated not having to haggle. I am not sure how the numbers were discounted, but I am guessing it is a combo of invoice pricing, incentives, and a dealer discount. Once tax, title, and other fees are included, I will end up paying closer to the MSRP price.

I am so late to post, but the car arrived March 26th. Took about 4.5 weeks from order to delivery

Since delivery I have installed the Steeda clutch assist spring (kickass mod!), along with a Ford Racing/Borla S-Type catback exhaust.

I should add that this is technically my wife's stang, as she fell in love with driving my 2011 GT and has wanted one for herself ever since.
