Question - I had cquartz applied on Monday and I'm supposed to go to a carshow tomorrow morning. The car is dusty as hell and I'd like to wash it. Should be ok to wash after about 4 days?

22PLE has the best shine, something you cannot duplicate with regular wax.

WHOA, wash it?
Dust is NBD now apart of the quartz crew.
I have some california duster bs i picked up a long time ago, dust just comes right off. Water / bug guts nbd....I use Wolfgang spritz, it comes right off and leaves the paint looking amazing. Wipe the spritz with a high quality microfiber towel and you will be set.
I coated both my black and ruby red 5.0.

I hear that the California car duster is terrible on cars paint
I can tell you from first hand experience, the duster works great and will not harm your paint.

I'm taking my Magnetic 16 GT Premium PP to a local detailer to have it properly detailed and CQuartz applied. They are authorized dealers and quoted me a starting price of $650 for minor paint correction and CQuartz application including the brakes and wheels. I have to leave the car with them for 2 days. I was quoted triple that from a different detailer for Modesta. I'm definitely going with the CQuartz, these guys have an impressive portfolio of work and have done cars for Sema.
BBB How is yours holding up and are you still happy with the CQuartz?

Thanks! I'm going for it because it's my DD and I don't have a garage so it's exposed to FL sun all day, everyday. I have an appointment with the detailer to drop my car off Monday at 5 and I will pick her up on Wednesday after work at 5.

Did you do the wheels and brake calipers?

I really thought about doing this especially being a black car. How hard do you guys think it would be to apply my own cquartz?

It's not hard at all of you have some what detailing experience. The main part is that the paint needs to be some what prepped before application. CarPro Essence is a great primer to apply to the car before you apply CQuartz.

I've been using CQuartz on all my vehicles for a few years now and it's great. Not having to wax constantly and the scratch resistant feature of CQuartz is awesome. I even applied it to my windows, black plastic fenders and top of my Jeep and it's held up great. I prefer it over RainX for the windshield TBH.

Here's my baby on the lift after clay bar and iron X, next she's getting polished and primed for CQuartz. The wheels are off because they're getting done too! These guys are really good if you're in SoFlo they are mobile too and they use the two bucket method with grit guard. They had just finished polishing a DIB EcoBoost when I was dropping off mine and it looked amazing. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of work they do.

Looks really good, PonyGrrrl! I looked at what shops were charging around here, and decided to try Detailer's Pro paint coating -- I'm happy with my choice -- wish I had better pictures of it -- I posted some taken with a potato, and they don't do the car justice. I don't know that the DP stuff will hold up as well as professionally applied coatings though. If I get a year out of it, then I'll be happy. I doubt I'll be able to keep myself from polishing it off and reapplying for that long anyway -- but it's claimed to last up to two years.
