Hey everyone,
I know there has been a lot of posts on installing DRL's/Switchbacks in the headlights.
I have read posts on cutting open the rear of the headlight casing to access where the LED boards will be placed & also others on baking in the oven.
As far as I know we don't yet have anyone offering the service of retrofitting the DRL/switchback boards here in NZ, so we are still trying to sort this issue out at home.
I just wanted to get some quick advice from those that have actually opened their headlights or known someone who has done so:
1. What is the easiest and best method to open these things & steps required?
2. Is cutting the rear of the casing open & then resealing a safer option?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Nate
