Cervinis said I need to shim my new gt500 hood

Has anyone had to deal with shimming their cervinis hood at the hinges to make it fit correctly?

I had to put washers on my stalker hood from them to make them even.

That’s crazy.
I ended up making a shim 5mm thick on both sides.
