OEM shift light question

I know the entire RPM cluster turns red approaching red line in PP Premium cars, but is it supposed to turn red when the headlights are not on?

That's I what I thought. I was thinking maybe there was a setting for it, but couldn't find any in the menus.

Would've been nice if they would've included a way to change the redline background color as well as change at what rpm the color would come on.
