Anybody know where I can rent a clamshell spring compressor in Northern Virginia? Preferably near Herndon/Sterling.

I don't know about tool rentals but I could probably bring home the spare spring compressor from my shop. I live in Sterling too so you could swing by my house to grab it or I could drop it off at your house. Also, if you want to bring your parts to my shop or give them to me to assembly at my shop we can work something out.

What all are you doing? I've had a few M6G forum members at my shop doing full suspension upgrades.

Just springs and subframe alignment kit.

I can certainly help with that. Have you thought about upgrading the dampers as well? Would be a huge improvement in ride quality over the stock dampers and lowering springs.

Dampers are near the top of my upgrade list.

You can check out Ford Performance's fully assembled front struts with their suspension kits. Eliminates the need for a spring compressor and disassembling the front struts.
