So I’m looking into a relatively cheap drag setup. But I know absolutely zero about what wheels fit what. I know 5x114.3 lug pattern and I’m looking at 17x9 to throw some 275 street radials on.

Ultimately I guess the main question is would these line right up

A buddy of mine got some racestars and had to buy what I assume is a set of longer lugs. Also keep in mind other than this and exhaust the car will stay stock for a long time. Also I don’t plan on being at the track every weekend either just one weekend or two a month. Also only running two in the rear.

A popular budget set is the 17x10.5 racestar paired with some MT ET Street SS or R, 305/45r17.

You might have some luck finding a secondhand set of these. I know here in Houston, there are some for sale like all the time.

Thanks for the reply firstly. But I’ve been looking around for a set of used racestars but seems they get picked up instantly by the military guys in my town lol... and honestly $360 a wheel is still pretty cheap in my standard for brand new. But if I can get away with the bullitt wheels I posted I’d be happy. Reason for the 17x9’s is I doubt I’ll ever need anything wider than 275. But I’m definitely getting the MT Street SS. Heard nothing but good about them.
