I have never had an issue with an alarm going off by an unintended button push while in the pocket until this car. It has done it twice to me so far. Sitting on the patio of a restaurant and moved while sitting. Alarm went off. Nothing else in my pocket both times.

As an alternative to making permanent modifications to your key fob, you can disable the panic alarm with Forscan.

What about other things under fob control that you wouldn't want inadvertently activated/opened?

Same here. I am curious, are you saying you're hitting the button accidentally when trying to hit another button? Or is it getting pushed while it's in your pocket or something?

I hit mine accidentally last week while installing a car seat. It was in my pocket.
