Hi Everyone: Tonight when i went to leave my son's house, i got in the car, had door open but had no interior lights at all. Started the car and all was fine. In reading the manual, the lights should have gone on when the FOB was detected. I don't understand what happened, if I try to reproduce it in my garage, the lights go on. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi Howard, and welcome to the forum. Not sure what happened but the lights do not come automatically with detection of the fob. Intelligent access will detect your fob and allow you to open a door by touching the door handle. Also pushing a door button on the fob will turn on the lights. Since it only happened the one time it could have been a freak occurrence. Troubleshooting will be difficult until it happens again.

mine does that when the interior light timer has run out, as in the door was not fully closed. I did it in the garage last week,
just start it and all is fine , it will reset the time out .

GMB, thanks for the reply. This makes sense to me, i thought the door was closed but it was probably ajar. Many thanks.
