The one bolt on top all the way forward by the a/c compressor is a mother f&*^%$#! Disconnect battery, take the starter out and pull the motor mounts. Of course since you're saying you're dropping the k-member you'll have more room but I don't think the k-member is in the way, the body is. Dropping the motor would help though, I took out both motor mounts, one at a time, to do each side. I used locking header bolts which suck to install but it's a nice guarantee to have, just left one stud in on each one to help line up the gasket/header to the head.
I actually found the nut behind the ac lines to be easy. I raised the motor as high as I could get it. Then I used the flex head ratcheting 15mm, got right to it from the top. I was able to use all factory studs and nuts. Didn't even have to remove any studs. Just had to push the motor over when I was installing the passenger side header and it went right on. Took me about 4hrs. I'd say it was pretty easy actually lol. Yes I removed the starter. I'm putting in the o2 sensors now since that's the last thing I have to do.
