Yes, and I did the same thing v2.2 leaked build 16280 -> official v2.2 build 17011. For anyone having trouble do the following:
1) do a master reset prior to inserting the USB drive with the update, wait for the reset to fully restart sync.
2) if you're still having trouble (installation taking more than 20 minutes) reformat the USB drive using exFAT instead of FAT32 and go back to step 1.

And BTW, master reset and the update did not change my Ford GT theme nor the heated/cooled seats touch screen controls.

Has anyone who is running the Lincoln v2.2 been able to download the update from owner.ford.com? I still don't have the option.

For now everyone who has v2.0 (2017 models) or higher (v2.2 Lincoln etc.) is not getting the upgrade option. We'll see if it changes in the future.

I used the ford binaries link from earlier and the download kept getting interrupted. I'd like to verify the file.

Alright part 1 performed again but I wish I could see what's on that pop-up that flashes quickly. This time I left the stick in and about 3 minutes after sync restarted itself it started updating again which is different from last night. Hoping for the best.

I didn't load it on the USB.

Install went perfect this morning. No issues at all. I followed the instructions exactly as Ford wrote them.

Hopefully this fixes some of the weird bugs I have.

No they didn't... it is still missing.

Just finished update on 2016 NAV version.
dumped all files onto 64GB USB.
Car is turned off.
about to go turn it back on to see if $ symbol is back in keyboard and if i can see anything else different.

If you wish to update to the new 17011 build from the earlier 2.2 build 16280... you only need to install the HN1T-14G381-SA.tar.gz file and not the entire update again. All of the other files are identical.

Navigation version used as an example...

Just modify the autoinstall.lst file in Notepad to remove these two entries...

Item3 = HN1T-14G423-CA
Open3 = SyncMyRide\HN1T-14G423-CA.tar.gz

Then shift the numbers up on Item/Open:

Install will be much faster and shouldn't fail trying to install the same other files over again.
The other two files... first checks to make sure it is a nav or non nav unit.... the last file generates the XML file for syncmyride.com uploading so Ford knows you updated to latest version. Usually this is also told to ford over WiFi/FordPass if you don't upload the XML file generated.

Since Ford released the update... your vehicle may also update over WiFi throughout the week... however, use these files above with a USB Drive if you want the update immediately. Many people are updating so the download server is very slow at the moment.
