It does sound good!! Hopefully the cold start isn't as loud as the 2020 Shelby. My neighbors hated that car on early morning startups...even in "quiet mode"

So did mine, the thing about 'quiet mode' is that the exhaust valves open on shut down from last time driven, so upon start-up even in quiet it will still bark until they close.

I haven’t noticed this on my GT - the valves are super fast anyway.

but - if you want to be sure.. the valves do move when the car is in accessory mode too. You can put it in accessory mode and change the exhaust before starting it (you can also hear how fast the valves change this way - you can hear the “click” when you change modes and the car is off).
