Hey guys new here. New to the S550 but not to Mustangs or Coyotes. Just picked up my 2017 Grabber Blue GT. It's a base model M6 3:55 and black appearance package. Traded my 2015 F150 in on the car. Have had several Mustangs in the past including a 2013 race red track pack car with recaros, and a 2014 Gotta Have it Green A6 car. I hadn't been in a Mustang in a few years after getting rid of my 2014. Saw this car and just had to have it. Although I would of rather had another a6 car(my 13 lost 3rd gear with only 7500 miles and bone stock and I swore I'd never have another MT82 lol) I just couldn't resist ok e I saw the car.

Just wondering besides an MGW which I will purchase at some point, what are some good mods to help the MT82 hold up longer than 10K miles? Lol

Nice car and the mt82 has addressed many of the issues the 11-14 had the shifter is better than the s197 but i cant comment on aftermarket shifters as my stock shifts fine, no problems with mine.

I have the Steeda Tri Ax short throw race shifter. Smooth as butta ma brotha. But, I hear many guys talk highly of the MGW's as well.

I have had MGWs before in a few GMs that's I've had and loved them so that's what I will go with. I've heard good things about Barton, just my experience with MGW has been great!

Did you ever learn what happened to the '13 MT82 3rd gear ? Any photos of the failed part ?

Congrats! Car looks great! I'm a sucker for Grabber Blue. If they offered it when I ordered my car I would have jumped on it in a heartbeat. MGW Race-spec is definitely the way to go. You will not regret it.

MGW is actually offer up to $125 credit if you send in a competitor's shifter (Broken or not) through the end of Nov.

Let's see some more pics!

nice ride! Those 50th appearance wheels in black look great with the Grabber Blue.

I am almost 25k miles in and my tranny and clutch are still holding. Stock everything at this point.

Nice car, what wheels are those?
Factory Black aperance package wheels for 2017. I believe they are the 50th anniversary wheels just in black, could be wrong though.

Sorry no pics. 3rd gears was gone, not really sure what exactly it was. Ford Fixed it and I sold it ASAP because I didn't want to deal with it again. I had bought the car to beat on and play with and it failed for what I wanted.

Thanks! Tinted the windows and planning to tint all the lights, other than that nothing. With the black aperance package it came setup pretty much they way I would have made it had it not come that way.
