Ok I have a 2012 mustang gt and I put these covers on. My oil tube does not fit at all. It has clips and looks similar to the one they recommend but it doesn’t twist on and just clips on. The one they recommend is no longer made and ford now only has the long yellow one. My dipstick is too short and the new one is too long. I am sticking with the new dipstick because the oil line is right when the twist starts and I have to remember that. Picture of the tube attached..
2012 will need a 2015+ dipstick and tube, GR3Z-6750-B and FR3Z-6754-B are the GT350 parts that LMR sells in their kit, but I like my 2015 tube/stick better--easier to reach with the 2015+ GT strut tower brace. Not sure what you already bought or what you were trying to buy that's no longer made, but the dipstick and tube for both GT350 and 2015+ GT are in stock all over the internet.
