Hi, I have a '15 GT 5.0 with PP. I bought it as an Investment grade muscle car & only put 1200 miles a year on it. I'm seeking an ins. co. that goes strictly by a low miles driver. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Wow. I don't know much about insurance but I believe all the major carrier will not be able to help you. You may need to go to Hagerty or Grundy's. They may be able to help.

Check and see if metromile is available in fl yet....they charge a flat fee, mine is $43 a month and then I pay 5 cents per mile....my bill hasn't been more than $75 yet...

Idk if that's any "cheaper" really.

My Geico is only about $105-110 per month on my GT in FL and I don't have to watch my miles (not that I drive far or put on many, only about 300-325 per month).

FL rates vary a lot because you have flood/wind/hurricane risk depending what area you live in, on top of collision issues.

Yeah. all FL cares about is TAKING your money and not paying any fair wages. I for 1 think auto ins. should NOT be forced on us. Ins. is a dirty, thieving bus.

Lol, I completely agree. I was a investigator at a large insurance company for a few years. My main focus was workers comp but it was all about screwing people over. I blew my last seetlement on purpose because I was leaving and felt sorry for the lady. $90k Christmas for her.

Hmm, mine is $325 for 6 months with State Farm. Declared under 7500 miles/yr, pleasure car (i.e. not a DD).

Company here in Fl. They do a great job!

Thanks MikeD1. I scored big with Heacock. Only $572/yr. and I can put up to 3,000 miles. As this Stang was bought as an investment grade muscle car to be auctioned off sometime after I die this is the perfect plan for my needs. Don't think in 20+ yrs. that most of these '15's will still be around. Many will be wrecked, stolen, or all chopped up. I have seen Boss 429's that cost $4200 new sell for $500,000 40 yrs. later. Just 1 thing- That Boss only had 38,000 miles on it. It also was all original except for the battery. I know this car is a good investment. The worse case scenario is sometime down the road it sells for what I paid for it new. Besides, I have a daily driver and a 2005 HD Sportster- 1200 CC's. A man has to have his toys. Right?

BTW, If you want to see hundreds of drop dead gorgeous muscle cars Mecum Muscle Car Auctions will be in Kissimmee next month. I've seen cars there that I never knew existed. I saw a Mercury Cougar XR7 with a Boss 302 in it from the factory. Have a Happy New Year. Rob

I meant to ask you if that Mopar Superbird is yours. I love the color.
