I'm looking to upgrade my current setup which is the silver wheels that come on the GT Premium (see picture of my car to the left) I'm looking to get a little bit wider stance. I'm looking at either a 19x9.5 or 19x10.5 wheel with a square setup, not a staggered setup. Which one would fit better and not have to worry about any issues like rubbing. What would be the best over all tire size? I was thinking 275 all the way around or is that too big would 265 be better. Keep in mind that I don't want to make the car look weird but do want a more aggressive stance without changing the handling or drive characteristics. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

275/40 is what ford puts on the pp 19x9.5" rim, for the 10.5 nitto says a 295/35 is recommended fit for that.

I was originally looking at a 19x10.5 but was told that would be too big and would cause issues. Can anyone confirm that? I was also looking at a 275/35/19 or would the 275/40/19 be better?

If you want to go squared run 19X10 ET35 on all 4 corners with a 285/35/19 tire.

The Wheels I'm looking at don't come in 10... they come in 10.5 (which is why I'm looking at 19x9.5) and putting a 285 on it might cause some fitment issues.

10.5 up front is a bit to wide we recommend a 10 up front or 9.5 square

Which wheels, offsets are going to be a big part of the equation.

The PP on the Mustang is the last benchmark I would look at. The PP cars are so undertired. You have a 3900lb car with a 56/44 weight distribution and only a 9" wide front wheel with only a 255 tire.

To the OP, rethink your wheel choice I wouldn't go below a 10"wide wheel for the front. The Mustang needs as much wheel and tire as possible on the front of the car.

Op was asking about if a 275 size tire would fit on a 9.5 rim with any issues. The stock pp 9.5 rim with a 275 tire on it seems like a great benchmark for comparison.

No he is moving on to a different wheel.

You should re-read what they said.
. I'm looking at either a 19x9.5 or 19x10.5 wheel with a square setup, not a staggered setup.
Here they are asking about a 19x9.5 setup, the 2024 Mustang GT Performance Pack comes with a 19x9.5 rear wheel.

I was thinking 275 all the way around or is that too big would 265 be better.
Here they are asking if a 275 is a good fit for the wheels they are considering. The 2024 Mustang GT Performance Pack comes with a 275 rear tire.

Here I am saying that the 2024 Mustang GT Performance Pack has the exact wheel/tire combination he is asking about to confirm that the wheel and tire size they were asking about do fit, then suggest what a second tire manufacturer suggest for the secondary wheel size they requested.

I was responding to this.
