That insurance is so cheap. Must be nice. 25 male here, 1 ticket 5 years ago, no accidents. 1853/year for eco prem. But anyway... congrats on the ride, best of luck.
Damn, my wife payed $1400 a year in NY state last year on a 13' Subaru outback with never a ticket or accident . When we married in September she moved to Vermont we combined our cars Subaru, f-150, 15 mustang, 11 KTM 690 Enduro R full coverage for $1500 a year through Gieco. Of course I'm 55 that is the upside to getting old .. Lol

Man you all are hard to please! I need to post pics of my car and insurance now too!? I have my policy through Erie, I could pay the year up front for @731 or may 250 a month for 3 months, which is what I ended up doing.
Well, I've never heard of Erie, and its been days since you started this thread and you've never posted at least 1 pic. Look at all the other threads of guys getting their mustangs. Pics from post #1.

Either pics or it didn't happen.

2015 Black base GT w/ 3.55 gears as only options. Currently Ford is offering 3k in rebates, in my area yours may be more or less, on the 2014 models. I ended up using X plan pricing on the 15 which took about 3k off the car.
Mine was a loaded out GT Premium ($43,900.), and X-Plan was $2,721.15. Either I got hosed or your "about 3K" X-Plan for a base GT is on the bleeding edge far side of "about".

Forgot to mention I had $750 Ford private cash.

Welcome - and congrats on the 1st mustang. I still remember my 1st Mustang - 91 GT Green on Grey.

Now, who the hell are you getting your insurance from? Are you sure that is a 1 yr policy and not 6 months? Im 35 and have a 13 SI 4 door and I pay $112 a month, I did total my lexus about 2 yrs ago though...but still.

Enjoy!
Rebates on 14 only. Not 15

Back to the insurance, who do you have insurance with? I am female with ZERO accidents and no on record tickets and pay way more than that for year. Could be location?
Not to thread jack...

When I was 28-29 I was paying 55$/month on a 2011 base GT. No tickets or accidents, but the insurance is through USAA. I always thought their rates were good, but maybe I never realized how good?

Grats on the car man, she looks great!

Depends a lot on how much other business you have with a company, too. I just got a quote from USAA for my recently ordered '15 GT Premium.

I am 49, with one minor at-fault accident and a small ticket on my record, and the GT is going to add $410 to my 6 month premium - roughly $68 per month for full coverage with $500 deductibles.

That looks like a pretty good deal to me, but the only reason it's that low is because I have been with them 27 years, I currently have 2 other cars and a motorcycle on the policy, I have checking, savings, and credit card accounts with them, and my homeowners insurance.

Stuff like that make it really difficult to have an apples-to-apples comparison when it comes to car insurance. Hell, even the zip code where the car is "principally garaged" can affect the rates.

I'm hearing 731 per quarter or 2900 per year.

Congrats on your first stang! I'm going to for sure be buying a 15. Logical part of my brain says to wait until winter is over, but the impatient part is wanting to put the order in now.

I had a '11 Mazdaspeed3 as well. Stock, but it was a ton of fun to drive.

Looks nice! Can you access the driving modes that affect throttle response?
