As much as people are shocked at resale price, i'd sooner see it go up than go down.

As with all assetts a depreciating one is far worse than one that appreciates.

Who cares, regardless of if it sells for that or not, a car being seen at that value allows greater returns on an undercut (could see a same spec version undercut it at 41k, and watch people dive for the 41k one instead).

Which would still be daft when you could have a untouched vehicle, fully spec'd for £36k.

But not have to wait like 6-12 months. Some people don't even look into 'new cars' and will just buy used and expect the price to be lower.

I was watching a couple of low £40K's mustangs for a few weeks on Autotrader and they appear to have sold rather quickly.... Hell I nearly did it that way too until Andy Barret appeared

Email received back from Stacey after a chase today. Dealer showroom convertible GT's can be negotiated for sale. No other options given.

Not quite what Andy alluded to with his post but she did confirm deposit was transferrable

Sorry for the delay, there are a few Shadow Black 5.0 Convertibles in each dealer showroom that can be negotiated for sale. Most are all delivered.

If you were to go for this option, your deposit will be transferable.

So I'd say the cancelled orders are for new buyers only, which tbh is what i would have expected.

Bit annoying, nobody really wants a showroom car that's had hundereds of people sit in it, especially with the cream intrerior on most of them which will look battered and tattered, families with a kid with stikcy fingers sat in them... Have to drop a hefty chunk of the price to intice myself into buying a 'demo car' :frusty:

Agreed. If I was in the market for buying today I would look at their list of delivered cars however. It would have to be fastback but i could live with an auto or manual. Any one of about 6 colours would be acceptable and any/all/none of the options would do. No custom pack however ;)

Pretty much what I said SteveS. I would change colour but want a GT Fastback with the 3 options. Custom pack would depend on exterior colour. As I've ordered a Yellow car any change in colour would hopefully have been a cost saving too. I'm also not interested in a car that has been sat in a showroom for ages and been fawned over by hundreds of people or test driven.

Agreed, I would do this, and easily I could do this by just getting a family member to go in and find out for me, or going to a different dealership and asking, alternativley, why do they care if i'm buying 2 cars, all i want to see is the list :lol:. Then I could cancel my order move the depo onto that etc.
