Mustang Week 2016

Started pricing hotels, and of course the wife needs, rather requires, beach front. After all is said and done, I'm looking at a $1000 weekend. I might have to pass this year. Can't see spending a grand to save a few bucks on show specials. In the past we scheduled our family vacations during Mustang week. Past few years we couldn't do that because of our daughters high school cheer schedule. This is her senior year, so next year I can get back on track with vacation week during Mustang Week.
We're already booked for a week in August.
EDIT: Well crap. Just double checked dates...our vacation starts on July 23rd. I just need to see if I can find a room for one night somewhere.

Where are you staying?

A lot of places in Myrtle have trailers parked beside each other in lots.

I've never trailered my car there but I know a lot of people do.

I'm staying at the Dunes Village Resort. I learned that Uhaul won't rent car trailers to Ford Explorers though so unless I come across a good car hauler on the cheap between now and then I won't be bringing the car.

I registered for the M6G night on the Facebook page just now though.

OK, I found a room for Friday night in Conway at a decent rate. So I'll be getting to the show early Friday morning as planned. Wife and daughters will be coming into town sat. afternoon for our week vacation.
