Also excluded the BMW M2 - "The BMW M2 is fantastic to drive but too pricey and not as user-friendly as an Audi RS3."

Who is this guy...................

I get out around twice or three times a week, and every time I get asked if some-one can take a photo or I get photo/video taken on the move, or is looking through the window, old and young alike.

It is less techno than my 2010 XR5T and probably a lesser build quality, but do I care..............not at all, just a great car to drive, which at the end of the day is what it was built for.
If I wanted to have all the euro bells and whistles I would have bought another euro box on wheels, each to their own I say.

Is the Focus RS blue actually Grabber Blue by another name? Looks very similar.
Should be very similar but no, not the same.

EDIT: looked it up. the Nitrous Blue on the Focus is a 3 layer. Looks like a light grey base, then the blue (with a large translucent component) then a crystal pearl. Grabber Blue is a solid. The blues should look very similar but the crystal pearl and the partially translucent blue on the Focus will give it more, I don't know, "wow" in the right lighting.

Thanks apsilon, I hadn't noticed that it was not solid. Obviously it is a hard colour to read from photos too. The Grabber looks different in most photos here: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51576

The two 1970 Mustangs I have seen in real life both have had a very, very slight hint of green about them, so did the can of spray paint I bought to spray my 1:24 scale model Mustang.

I hope Ford have used some license with this latest Grabber Blue and it is more pure blue, having not seen one in real life yet. I hope it is darker rather than lighter too.

Colours are very hard to judge in photos, especially when it's not on a flat surface. Even the same photo on different monitors can look very different.

I'm a bit worried about what the colour will look like in person (I should get a speed shape sprayed) but really, I think it's doubtful at this point that I'll actually get grabber blue which is a whole other level of problem.

Yes, monitors differ.

Sorry to hear you might miss out on Grabber, although there's still a chance.

I ordered Competition Orange a few weeks too late and had to change to Grabber. I think both colours will hold their value with so few being built, not that I intend to ever sell it.

Can't wait to discover if it is 'a good enough drive' or not :-)

As a Grabber Blue owner who was also worried about how the colour would look in real life, I can honestly say you have nothing to worry about.

It is very difficult to capture the true colour in photos... And it does look completely different in different lighting.

Thanks Josh; I'll rest a little easier.

I should pull my finger out and have the guys mix and spray out a sample so I can see it in person. I'm going to resist though for now as I'm not even sure I'll get Grabber Blue if mine isn't built in time and then I'll be even more disappointed.
