It's not particularly bad, but there's not a whole lot of upside, either.Hello!
I was wondering if it is bad to let your car warm up before driving?
Thanks!
Get in the car, start it up, then by the time you've done your seatbelt, fiddled with the A/C, checked your mirrors, etc, a modern engine is plenty warm.
Naturally don't FLOOR it at that point, just drive off and in another minute or two of normal driving, go for your life. Engines are ready for action really fast.
