Mustang 4 inch screen to the 8 inch screen upgrade for 2019+ requires no additional wiring/harness, its plug and play. Only if you are upgrading your ACM to add SiriusXM.
The following parts were used to upgrade:
The car did not come with CD slot in ACM radio, so I replaced the ACM and added SiriusXM using the Antenna, I sticked the antenna on top and ran the wire behind the ventilation to the ACM (yellow port):
Programming codes using forscan and [OBD EX - optional] (Thanks to Hellhorse Performance):
1- Hazards operation in the BdyCM (BCM):
How to program your new ACM Radio to fit in your vehicle using forscan (Also fixes chime sound coming from dashboard instead of speakers after swapping ACM):
1- Before swapping/replacing your ACM radio, save your asbuilt ACM using forscan, or download from ford website.
2- Check in the ACM asbuilt data in forscan how many lines of 727-01 are available, note it down (Check whether they are 2 or 3 lines).
3- Replace/Retrofit/Install your new ACM radio into the vehicle.
4- Check the new ACM in the ACM asbuilt data in forscan how many lines of 727-01 are available:
a. If you have 2: ACM model is from 2015-2019 Mustang.
b. If you have 3: ACM model is from 2020+ Mustang.
5.1- If your old ACM 727-01 number of lines matches your new ACM 727-01 number of lines in ACM asbuilt:
a. Load your old ACM asbuilt data into your vehicle.
b. Change: ACM 727-01-01 9xxx xxxx xx
c. Change: ACM 727-01-01 xx0x xxxx xx
5.2- If your old ACM 727-01 number of lines doesn't match your new ACM 727-01 number of lines in ACM asbuilt:
a. Look for a Mustang VIN in the internet and download the asbuilt data from ford website.
Note!!!
(Base/Premium based on your Mustang. Example: If your Mustang is Base model, you need to search for a Base Mustang VIN).
(Make sure the year of Mustang from the internet matches your new ACM year from Mustang that it was removed from. Example: If the new ACM was removed from a 2022 Mustang, the car that you need to search and get the asbuilt data from is Mustang 2022).
b. Load the ACM asbuilt data only from the car that you got from the internet into you vehicle.
c. Change: ACM 727-01-01 9xxx xxxx xx
d. Change: ACM 727-01-01 xx0x xxxx xx

After changing the ACM codes in forscan, you will notice a different sound of the chime (it will sound like the old mustang), the sound will come out from the dashboard instead of coming out from the speakers. Its fine, you just need to turn off the car for 1-6 hours and the sound will come back same as before, nothing to worry about.
Note: If you have mykey enabled, you will only have these driving modes: Normal, Sport+, Snow.

- b. ACM 727-01-01 xx0x xxxx xx (ONLY If upgrading to SXM/HD - amp audio fix)
- a. APIM 7D0-01-01 xxxx xxx3 xx
- If you have an issue with low volume make this change in the ACM if not already made:
- ACM 727-01-01 xx0x xxxx xx
- Factory NAV owners - if the compass is backwards check this in the APIM:
- Manual Transmission: APIM 7D0-01-02 xx9x xxxx xxxx
- Automatic Transmission: APIM 7D0-01-02 xx0x xxxx xxxx
