I have 3" inlet 4" outlet tips laying around so might just do this and up the pipe size. Anyone add 3 inch piping?

I joined the deleted muffler team on Monday. Less than 400 miles on my new ECB. Sounds a lot better. My last car was a Fiat Abarth, probably one of the best sounding stock turbo's I have ever heard. This mod is still "quiet". Want to keep the resonator but would like more pops.
Another advantage of the delete, got rid of those horrible looking mufflers and uglier tips. Put 4" Magnaflow Stainless Steel tips on, it now looks like a Mustang should look. Hey, dropping around 30 pounds is an added bonus.
Not sure if it is my imagination, but after rowing the gears up to 5,000 RPM's out on the Interstate, it seems louder. Any of you noticed this? Maybe the pops will follow. Nick
[emoji106] Wife's car is a 15 Abarth and even with my muffler delete and massive air intake, her car is still way louder. Makes me sad haha.
I will have to get a video of a rev off between them when it gets warmer out.

Look forward to that. It is amazing the little 160 hp turbo makes that great exhaust note.
What CAI do you have, and sound wise, is it worth it? Not too concerned with the HP gain, if any. Again, I love the car, after the Abarth, which I enjoyed, it has been good to get back in a "big boy" car.:)

I bought the MMR intake because I'm a cheap ass, I think it's the loudest one out, it has its draw backs however, PITA to clean the filter and you have to move the horn but it sounds perfect with the muffler delete.
I'm Brownievk on Instagram I have a quick video of it on there. I've been planning to get more with my nice camera but never have the time.

I just checked out your Instagram, the MMR sounds great! Is that the stock BOV? It was pretty damn loud, I think i'm sold for the MMR intake but since I have the Boomba BOV Adapter I think it'll be ever louder.

100% stock BOV, not even vented its plugged into the intake tube like stock, you don't want to run both just the intake is enough. I will warn you that with the factory electronic BOV it will open and vent when cruising at highway speeds and its EXTREMELY annoying.
You fix it by getting a mechanical BOV and charge pipe kit. Lots of good info in the intake threads around here.

Muffler delete should definitely be a first mod, it sounds way better in person than any video I've heard.

Oh yeah, my Boomba goes off at like 2k rpm when Im on the highway. I'll see how it sounds with the MMR and if its nasty i'll simply remove the Boomba. Thanks for the comment!

Any chance anyone weight the mufflers that were cut off and get a combined weight?

If you add a catless dp . Make sure to keep the resonators (mid pipe ) in . do not replace with a y-pipe . it is wayyyyy to loud . Trust me haha . Couldn't even drive the darn thing
Resonators are key to a smooth note and they are not restrictive
