You seem to know what you're talking about based on this, and your other posts. What fluid has worked best for you on these transmissions?

It's hard to find many people that actually know anything about these transmissions. I come from the vette world where the rear diff is the same way. Lots of voodoo and dogma, and not much actual information.

Obviously everyone is going to have their own experience with fluids but I can tell you, we've had good success with a 75%/25% mix of Mobil 1 ATF with Syngear II fluid in the MT82 which is also what we've had similar results with in the Tremec based units with very similar synchronizer rings.

Bronze blocker rings in these? I know that early 6060s had issues with bronze blocker rings. They eventually swapped to a hybrid carbon/bronze blocker.

Correct. I was hoping to see Ford make the move to those as well in the 2015 car but have not yet that I am aware of. We are developing some hybrid rings for the MT82 but its an expensive process.
