Mounting NGauge in dash

So I pulled the dash off and attempted to mount my nGauge inside the ac vent. I wrapped some electrical tape around the gauge and tried to insert it in the existing hole where the vent was. It will not fit snug inside and seems to not fit all the way in to the hole. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

What one are you putting it in? I put mine in the center and used a drop of gorilla glue to hold it in place.

Drivers side... I've seen people mount it there and it looks like it fits..

Does it fit with the dash out of the car? Maybe the wire is hanging up on something?

No... It's catching on the small I want to call them "clips" on the inside of the dash. I press the gauge into the dash while it's off and it gets stuck and won't go any further into it. If I was to leave it like that for one it would look half assed, and second the first bump I hit the gauge would pop out

The only thing I see is a wire temperature thing on mine any way.

That's weird how mine wouldn't fit in the vent. I'll try to install it in the middle one next even though all the vents look like the same size

It wouldn't even for snug in the dash that I pulled off. Didn't even get a chance to mount it back up to the dashboard. That temp sensor will clear just fine

Finally got it to fit. I had too much electrical tape wrapped around it in the beginning. It fits snug now.
