Does anyone know of any mod friendly dealerships in central Arkansas? I wish there was a state by state list or something. I'm getting ready to tune my GTPP and it would be nice to know of a good ole' friendly dealer just in case I run into any "Technical Difficulties".

Call R&A Motorsports located in Lees Summit MO (866) 409-3542
They should be able to modify your car or make recommendation for
dealer closer to you

Dynospeed Racing gets good review too and have many Mustang mods under their belt

Have you talked to your selling dealer about mods yet, start there. Some dealers are doing the Roush 670 supercharger and still covering all powertrain under full factory warranty. I had Brenspeed install my SC'er and dealer, although I never needed it, assured me I was fully covered.
I'd assume as long as you get a reputable tune, your dealer will have no issues.

It's hit or miss on the person, the dealer, and the day. The only thing you'll ever receive on this will be a "word of mouth" promise. Beyond that no dealer anywhere has the power to promise Ford's warranty will extend to you if you modify your car and something messes up. Not to mention, it's technically fraudulent for them to submit a Ford warranty claim knowing that it's a wear/tear or modified item that failed due to the modifications. Obviously it happens quite frequently and Ford lets it slide, but even still. Getting your car caught up in the middle of shady warranty practices is not something I'd want my car involved with. I've seen it happen..

Definitely not Autonation in Panama City, Florida. I went in for an oil change (Live in an apartment complex that I can't even change oil or a tire...even in my garage i pay for). So I mention that my 2 center vents broke. I don't think I've ever even adjusted them, but they both broke. I had to speak with the general manager to get them fixed because the service manager and tech kept bringing up my longtubes, intake, shift boot/knob, and gt350r steering wheel. None of which obviously would cause the vents to break. It was a 2 day runaround before they finally fixed them. Unfortunately it's the only dealership within an hour :-|

I wouldn't think "mod Friendly" dealers would want to be listed in public on a forum. Ask for PMs

Warranty work is not generally lucrative for dealers but some are better than others. I recall having an '01 Bullitt GT with several issues. First dealer refused because I did not buy from them (technically they can't refuse but would you want someone working on your car who didn't want to do it?). Second dealer fixed everything without question. I had literally scratched the plastic lens of the speedo with a diaper and they didn't even question that. To me, a dealer being picky about warranty work because of mods, is looking for an excuse. Particularly if the mod has nothing to do with the fault.

Very good post - the warranty is between you and FORD not you and the dealer. When it boils down to it the dealer WILL tell Ford the condition of the car, mods and all. Its up to FORD as to whether they want to deny the claim based on said mods.
