I agree with you 100%. To me most what's out there are too tall and look as bad/worse than OEM.

Too bad the 2014 tank can't be used. I much prefer the profile of that one. What's underneath there that requires the tank to sit so high?

Unfortunately the stock fan shroud and intake piping are both below the expansion tank. Moving it down would be quite a task. The height of the cap also helps with bleeding air from the system.

Either aluminum or wrinkle black.
