Well...for the first time in my 10 years of driving experience, I have been in an accident. The car is mostly ok...most of the damage is to the driver side corner of the front bumper (going to need to be replaced), but I think there might have been some suspension damage as well because the car wants to pull to the left and the steering wheel is not centered when the wheels are straight. Hopefully, this is a very simple fix and nothing too complex. I don't want to post any pictures of the accident until everything with the insurance is taken care of.

Luckily I live close to work so I can take transportation or even walk. But my poor stang... I feel so bad :(

Sorry to hear it. :( Your mistake or someone else's? It can probably be fixed up just like new, hope you are back in the saddle soon!

Sorry to hear this and glad everyone is OK! It sounds like the damage is very minor, and if only the front bumper cover is damaged, I'm surprised youre having steering issues. Did you run over anything during the accident? It sounds like your alignment is off, which can happen from something as simple as a pothole, curb or speedbump. I imagine you're filing a claim for this with your insurance, make sure they check your steering out.

I hope it is just the alignment and nothing more (hopefully no tie-rod end or idler arm). I am kind of happy this happened because someone else backed into the front bumper and caused some minor damage and ran off. So I am glad I will be getting a new one. Plus I will be able to take care of a warranty issue while in the body shop involving the rear bumper (might try to exchange it for a GT model bumper...fingers crossed). The other driver did not fair as lucky...her rear door will need to be replaced. As for fault...not worried about assigning blame...if was my mistake...it was my mistake...if the insurance people determine it was the other person's mistake, it was the other person's mistake. I am just glad we are both ok, no injuries, and these things can be fixed.

Thank you all for the well wishes :)
