Just thought I'd update this thread. Ordered the Michelin Super Sports in the 305/35/19 rear and 255/40/19 front and I'm very happy with them. At factory psi they have no sway or wobble at all. We stood the old rear tire (Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 305/30/19) next to the new rear and pushed down on each. The old rear was easy to push down on, the new one not at all. It was amazing how much difference in sidewall strength there was in both tires of similar size, but definitely not similar construction.

Very happy and appreciate everyone's feedback here.

5 track days on the PSS so far and no "wobble". running 28 PSI like Ford recommends and it seems spot on. Edges are looking a little ragged but they are still performing great. I plan on replacing with the same tire (can't wait for race compound brake pads though)
Off topic, but how much life are you getting out of the OEM pads?

3 track days and the fronts were thin as a gnats nut hair. I'm sure I had the rotors glowing going from 150 to 50 mph lap after lap on the back straight. PFC has some racing pads that will fit the rear (took the product rep 2 days to find after I sent him measurements), nobody has a front pad yet. Should get about twice as much life from the rear though.

I just ordered a set of Hoosier R7's for the track since there are few options out there for the GT350. The fronts are 295/35-19 and the rears are 315/30-19. There is no exact match for the rear, so 10mm extra width should not harm anything.

Can't wait to see how the GT350 handles with good tires - for the track that is.
