Manual Sync Piece Conversion?

Is it possible to put the Manual Sync Piece in an automatic? I think I saw it done somewhere before. I was wanting to buy a White Madness Garage Shifter knob, and the Sync piece swap would get rid of the P R N D S letters by the shifter so it would fully look like a manual. What would I have to do to get the shifter knob to fit with the manual sync piece/boot? I see that the manual shift boot has a place to allow the bolt to come through so you can attach the shift ball, so how would I go about removing it?

Did mine a few weeks ago. WMG short shifter with manual bezel. Straightforward install, if you get the short version you will have to trim 1” off the shifter post.

Hey, I'm looking to do this manual boot swap, do you happen to have the 2019 part number for the boot with white stitching?

I took a part number to the dealer and ordered it... my car is a 2019 401A and you can see in the pic it has the white stitching. I think JR3Z-7277-GA. It’s says ebony but the rear part is white stitched. You can search here and see the pic of the part
