It's absolute BS. Ford Performance supposedly sent my VIN to Ford to see what they will do.I completely understand, no worries.
I just think it's BS that some guys are getting nailed with the GGT, and others with the same configured vehicle are not.
When I first started seeing the GGT on some window stickers, it seemed like those I was finding were on the MT82, but then I saw some on the 10R80's. Then I saw some with same transmissions with no GTT.
I'm looking at a sticker now and there is no GTT; it's an M1 w/ the 10R80 and the 700A package, and sticker production date I'm seeing is 03/16/21. That is the only date seen at bottom of Window Sticker under the "Ford Credit" block.
Maybe folks can post up their window sticker dates and that might lead to the "why"? Just not sure.
If this GGT is a "whoops" on Ford's part (should never have been on the Window Sticker) and they have been informed of it or questioned of it by M1 Owners - then they should be reimbursing all M1 Owners who paid the GGT.
To me, it surely doesn't make sense that some new car M1 Buyers would be required to pay the GGT and those with the same configured vehicle would not, especially if assumed this is being applied based on how many cars were produced within X-calendar period.
I also called Ford customer service and they said they couldn't help me. Asked for supervisor to call me back and notta.
So pissed and I will not quit until I am reimbursed!
