Been looking around for M14x1.5 long stud options.
ARP is currently working on some but have been told late 2016 like October or later. Holler if you heard anything different from ARP.
I tried ordering the GT350R long studs from Ford but got busted when using a friends VIN and they still wanted $$$ for them.
I know there are $15/5 ARP 1/2", but seems silly to pay extra for 190,000 tensile and then shoot yourself in the foot running smaller bolt.
Clamping force of larger cross section M14 is higher vs 1/2".
Anyone find any M 14 options?
Thinking about trying to round up enough people to go in and have a machine shop make a bunch. Any interest?
Update: picked up the beefiest M14x1.5 studs I could find. Have 3.5" and 3". Looked for long shoulder for the 3.5" for running spacers front. Pictures maybe next weekend after I clip the bolt heads and test.
Paid $27 for 10 for the 3.5"@grade 10.9 .
