Is anyone using these on a Gen 3? I'm building a new motor and would like to use them, but in an older post from Benny at Levittown Ford Parts, they aren't compatible with the Gen 3 head. Ford implies that they are. The following is from the Ford Performance website.

Oriented towards racing applications, these lash adjusters offer an upgrade over the stock lash adjusters by adding a small internal oil reservoir. This reservoir provides extra oil capacity within the adjuster in the event that the oiling system collects air during severe vehicle dynamics.

- Fits 2011-2024 Mustang GT 5.0L
- Original equipment on 2015-2020 Mustang GT350 5.2L, 2020-2022 GT500 5.2L, 2023-2024 Raptor R 5.2L

Is the stock lash adjuster the same part number for Gen 2 and Gen 3? If so, I don't understand why these wouldn't work. I have them on my Gen 2 and they are externally identical to the stock ones. I measured them with calipers and couldn't find a single difference. I can't verify if the inside is different like they say.

I had to exchange a few because the M-6500-M50R packaging is so poor that they were knicked and dented or machined with such rough castings that the machined surfaces had defects so inspect closely if you do get them.

Thanks for the heads up on packaging. I’ll research the part numbers, but I’m fairly certain they are the same part.
