Me and my buddy who is a mechanic installed my steeda progressive springs this afternoon. I noticed when I got home and looked under my car my passenger side perch is sitting lower than the drivers side perch. Springs were installed right with the tails of the springs sat in the right place. Car is driving good no pulling or clunks. We did take off the rear sway bar and took off both sides of subframe bolts and did it all at one time. I know it said to do one side at a time but it was easier this way. All went back together good. Any suggestions?

Can one of you guys with steeda springs check your rear perch and see if the passenger side is lower than the drivers side? Thanks.

*Not trying to sound like a jerk*

Could it be an illusion? Notice how much lower your exhaust is hanging in the first picture (distance from your clamp to body). Have you checked the measurement from ground to perch.

If it is still off, and you only did springs, the clocking instructions from the link in put in the previous post could help

Good luck

Clock the bushings as a matter of good practice, but that looks like an illusion from the exhaust system to me. I've installed Steeda Progressives (and other springs) and/or been under the car of cars with them (to install catbacks usually) and never seen this. Always worth investigating yourself if you have a concern - also helps you familiarize yourself with the IRS which isn't rocket science.

Seems like a case of droopy eye, but speaking seriously, I agree with the above two posts. Definitely looks like an optical illusion due to exhaust misalignment.

Looks like optical illusion. You can clearly tell the perspective is different looking at the exhaust tip to valence.

Id agree with the optical illusion theory, does the car sit properly?.........

You are just looking at it with your dominant eye at different angle.
The only way to measure is from the center of the wheel to top of the fender is if the height is the same.

OP,

I have asked our team & this is not something we have encountered with our springs.

If everything is driving normal & no clinks/clunks ... it would be difficult to understand what is taking place.

I have asked a couple others in our install dept. to see if they have a solution - I will let you know.

To be sure measure on a flat even ground, measure how the car sits from tire to wheel lip or fender opening. see if both sides measure the same. We lower a bunch of cars/trucks here at and in the shop so floors aren't always even.
