Magnetic is not dark like black. It's darker shade of silver but looks better than silver in the sun. More depth. Mine hides dirt pretty well.
That does look sharp. I think seeing the silver next to the metallic and stripes vs. no stripes would help.

Thanks

A sleeper 2015 Mustang GT??

I see what you mean about the stripes though. But at least one the white it seemed to give it some badass personality.

I went with white. Good visibility to other drivers, but not conspicuous to the police. Stays cool(er) in the hot sun. Generic, so good re-sale color. Although I am planning to keep the car long term. White is a good "sleeper" color. Unless you get the car with Brembos and a racing stripe, and then people will know for sure you are an enthusiast. "Officer, I have no idea how my car got going that fast

I like a white car but I already have one so I don't feel like having another one.

I see where you're coming from. But if someone is doing 120 on the highway, I highly doubt a stripe being absent will help them any if a cop sees it.

At that point you kinda have to be like Rob on Super Speeders...."do your worst, officer, money is of no object!!". :D

After thinking about it...since I plan on getting a combination of 1's and i's on my license place, I don't want someone to be able to say anything about stripes/decals either. :ninja:

Got the silver 2015 no strips and love it especially around sundown with all the lights on , something about it that really stands out IMO. Always looks clean even when it's a little dirty. last car was a 1997 Firebird that I had for 17 years and it was silver and always looked clean also.

white paint does show dirt easy. So if you are driving around in urban snow / wet, or other slop, it will look dirty fast. That said, I give it a 10 minute bucket wash and rinse, and don't bother to dry it, and for me its good enough.

it's got more than enough red hue
I agree. Almost certain it was the lighting. I only had one CO to look at and it was on the show room floor, under fluorescent lighting. I might have still went with that, but it had 500 miles on the odometer and the salesman didn't seem all that eager to give me a discount for that.

Ingot silver is a gorgeous color if you're looking to stay in the grayscales. My 2nd favorite.

I went with black knowing it wasn't going to be a daily driver. There is nothing better looking than black when it is polished up. For me I didn't want anything else. If my GT was going to be daily driver though, my choice would have been ruby red. I have ruby red on my F150 and love it!

Not sure if it's still true but I know at one time, statistically speaking, red cars get yanked by cops FAR more than any other color.

My goal is definitely to stay under the radar...between the color, unreadable plate, no decals, etc. plus one of the best radar detector's money can buy...

No plans to be a dick on the road but I know these cars are a magnet to complaints and cops.

Silver with the black PP wheels is killer.
