Ahhh yes. You are correct my friend.
Thank you to all the unions of this great country. The UAW, Steel workers, Teamsters, etc.
They are all guilty of the USA "Unioning" itself right of of their jobs.
"We want more, We want More, We want more"! Most didn't even graduate from high school, but they want to get paid wages that are near the same as collage grads with four years and a masters degree.
I believe everyone should get a FAIR wage. But the unions took it way too far. using THUG tactics to get their way. Crippling production until they got what they wanted, forcing prices to skyrocket. Affecting Everyone.
I am sorry for using this forum to spout my anger. But I don't subscribe to facebook, or any other social media garbage.
This is where we are now, but most all union workers will never admit that the unions destroyed our country as far as being a leader in industry and production of goods. Because they feel that the union got them the wages, and retirement packages that suited them, made their lives better. And I can't disagree with that. BUT...Look at the cost to the whole country.
I'm done. And I am ready for the feedback I know I will get for this post. I know I will take a lot of flack for what I have said, but I have been taking it for a long time. I am from Detroit, so my opinons are not popular for sure.

I actually agree with you. I will say there are benefits on the union side as far as how a company can treat a worker etc, but there are bad sides too like with everything. My plant is UAW. I was a member from day 1, but not the true blue yelling member if you know what I mean. I was a member because I knew when it came time to need them for something, its better to be in than out.

All of that changed this past year though, as UAW International voted to raise our dues. They are highway robbers. Thankful that NC is a Right to Work state... because I am no longer a member, and they cannot extort dues from me anymore. RTW states are the best thing going because they allow the members to hold the Union acountable by being able to take dues income from them. Which we all know, is all the unions care about.... that money.

/Soapbox mode off . :D

LA is RTW also. I am non union but our maintenance is. We have non Union project work. Unions extort money from the workers under the guise of "protection". Truth is, the people don't work worth and shit due to the protection. We get 100x better work out of the non union people and they take much more pride in their work.

Unions where a good thing and needed years ago but right now they are a political racket. And there may be a future when unions are needed again (see China note next) but right now they are doing no good for the people.

China recently allowed the first workers union to form. Now that it seems to be allowed, if workers rights and pay and such begin to climb, China production will lose some of its appeal. Examples are already beginning to be seen. My company has decided to build the next polyurethane plant in the U.S. instead of China.

Hey David, when will the springs be available for this one, it has a lot of wheel gap :D
Honestly just trying to decide if we're going with the progressives or linear first, I'm thinking progressives since they're so popular right now :)
