That was a good race.

Porsche's had stupid speed.

I almost feel like the BMWs were sandbagging initially, they were sorta around during the race then out of no where they had a ton of speed.

The balance of power is definitely skewed. The Porsches had a 5sec lead less than 10min into the race. We actually left the track cause the Mustangs weren't even close.

It was that way at Road Atlanta last fall, they have gagged the Mustang to the point that Porsche, BMW and Audi just walk away from it in a straight line.

At the end the Beemer just drove by Scott Maxwell on the straight, Maxwell would catch him back up and be on his ass by the time they re-entered the banking and then the Beemer would just drive away. It happened lap after lap. Showed off the handling the GT4 Mustang has, but there's no way that car could win the way they've restricted the motor.

I understand now why Chevalay pulled their Camaros out of this series. It is a joke and I don't know why Ford wastes their money competing in Imsa. That applies to the Ford GT too, they just gag that car to death. It is total bullshit. But given that IMSA is owned by the same folks who own Nascar, no one should be surprised at this.

I hate the idea of detuning a car so other cars can compete. I also agree that the Ford GT and Corvette C7R are a joke on the track. Both are detuned 200hp so everybody can be equal.
