Lethal BAP pigtail

What’s up guys , got a lethal performance bap and have a question about the pigtail . It’s missing one pin connector on both sides. Is this the design or no? I attached some pics . Thx

I can't say for sure, but I can tell you this: As someone who designs electronic automotive components for a living, it is very common to have missing terminals (with the missing wire to go with it) if the component does not require that extra signal. This could be because it is cheaper to buy (other cords use the same connector) or that it has better performance (for assembly, reliability, etc) than other connectors more suitable to the number of terminals.

I would only be concerned by that if only one side was missing a terminal.

The harness is supposed to be that way as that wire isn't used for the fuel pump voltage booster to work correctly.
