Just hope you don't want to keep the stock one as I've heard it doesn't dismantle when it's off, might have to hire a van to get mine home after the new one is on.
Drop back seats, sit it through the car, every 5 minutes yell down the headers, it's like having 4 exhausts...

Serious note Just wrap it up as you don't want all grease and muck on the seats. Not sure what the space is like but should fit...

Very good!! Don't ever have a day off on here as you do make me smile, anyway i'm not taking the stock one back home in my Mustang....not a chance, think a phone call to Father will be needed, sure it'll fit in his car.

They don't dismantle and with the width of the rear sections it doesn't fit in many cars, so a van is normally needed

As Steve just mentioned, it's a one-piece system from the cats back and the width between the back boxes meant it wouldn't go in my Mondeo estate & had to be angled to fit into a transit-size van.

But yeah, aside from that it should fit.

Haha! Always got time for the M6G forums!

Yeah, as others (who're way more engineering knowledgeable than me) are saying that you're going to need to get a Van to take the exhaust back, or anything else, think only way you could take it back in the mustang would be if you had a verte and were driving with the top down :lol:

The old exhaust is all welded together as one giant piece. I'll be disposing of it anyway. If I get pulled over for having a loud exhaust and told to revert to stock I'll just say "well why don't you pull over that Astra with the Halfords fart cannon? I can hear it inside my car WITH the stereo going full blast!" ;)

Gaffa at the Kwik Fit said he'd help fit the exhaust personally on their ramps and thus he'll have the provisions to dispose of the stock system properly (I hope).

Wait what the hell am I saying - Dealer said he'd be more than happy to let me fit it in the service area, and Ford DEFINITELY have the provisions to get rid of old parts.

Ben, I've ordered the Miltek one so should have yours to compare to when we meet.
I think I'll fit mine myself.

Nice! I smell a rev battle on the horizon!

As for the exhaust, took it home and unpacked it on my lunch break.

Hope you didn't eat it!!
Who needs protein when you can just straight up eat stainless steel? The most important part of any workout is your daily dose of refined metal.
