I came across this old thread of someone selling their charcoal leather seat covers awhile ago. I have the ceramic/charcoal combo seats right now but if these seat covers are an easily swappable item I would consider going all charcoal. I didn't realize they are just covers and not a solid piece? Can someone clarify if these seat covers are removable or if in order to do the swap you need to actually break stitching and tear the seats apart. Thanks.

Aren't yours leather? They are swappable, there is a very good write-up about it in here. My car is a base, I found leather take-offs and swapped them out myself. It took me about 6-7 hrs, taking my time. If your's are leather and you really want all charcoal leather, I'm in CT also and might be interested in swapping with you.

Mine are leather, correct. They are the heated/cooled seats. I will have to try and find that write-up on here. I am in southeastern CT, where are you? How many miles/any damage on your charcoal covers? I have 2500 miles on my ceramic/charcoal.

I'm 15 minutes NE of Hartford. The guy I bought them from had done the original swap. They were in his car for 1000 miles until he traded it in. He made the dealer swap them back to cloth whereas he sold these to me. I installed them in April of this year. There isn't any damage to any of mine.

If you're headed to Mark's cruise in Granby tonight, you're welcome to check them out yourself.

That looks like a PITA to do, and I wonder what extra work heated/cooled seats with lumbar support would have. Sorry I didn't make it out to Granby, I headed to a local car meet with a buddy. How interested would you be in a swap?

LOL those were my seat covers you used for an example. They were in great shape...hated to sell but had for a good while and never installed them. Glad someone bought them and put them to some good use. :)
